History
Kenneth A. Bray, President of Art on Gold started in 1983 with a concept; he wanted to invent a greeting card like no other. Within three years he had broken into the 7 billion dollar a year industry with the “World’s Most Elegant Frameable Greeting Card.“
In 2001, quite by accident he developed a way to take the same technology to reproduce and recreate art. And, so Art on Gold and Portraits on Gold were born. Realizing that this was not the standard way of looking at art, Bray has spent his time exciting art lovers with the possibilities Art on Gold can bring to home and office décor, custom gift giving, and art investment, as every Art on Gold is created in limited editions, numbered and registered for lasting value. To accomplish this task, Bray has invested his time in building a rapport with his customers and developing new products to answer their needs.
The next step was the concept that if Art on Gold is accepted, why not create the same process for Portraits on Gold-- custom, created reproductions of any picture. This opened the door for custom creations which now include, Photo Jewelry and the newly introduced, Foto Tags..
Today, Art on Gold has had great success in New York, Las Vegas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida and most recently has been introduced in Virginia. Art on Gold has grown to such proportions--partially due to the work of Award Winning Photographer F. Barish-Stern, whose work is done exclusively as Art on Gold. This step has enabled Art on Gold to be featured in museums, gift shops, attractions. Recently Art on Gold and Portraits on Gold found a home in downtown Roanoke, Virginia, in a new art and gift shop called Creations. this has allowed the product line to expand and now in addition to Greeting Cards, Art reproductions and Re-creations, and Custom Portraits on Gold, we now also include a full line of magnets, bookmarks, coasters and newly introduced, photo jewelry and Foto Tags.
With the launching of www.artongoldcreations.com , and www.portraitsongold.com, Bray has taken the next step in expansion, and believes making Art on Gold, Portraits on Gold and now Foto Tags on Gold available in this fashion will only speed success. He is has also recently devised an in-depth training program for recruiting Art on Gold specialists, that requires no experience.
